Quick Take
After using the Momcozy S12 Pro wearable breast pump for several days, I decided to write this review for it so that you can compare it with other hands-free wearable breast pumps before making the final decision. It’s very convenient. The cordless design makes it very portable and allows me to do the pump thing around the house or on the go. For example, I often use Momcozy S12 Pro when driving back from work or shopping mall. In this way, it saves a pumping journey at home and I can spend more time doing housework. If you’re a busy working mom or mom with several kids, I would recommend trying Momcozy S12 Pro or other similar hands-free wearable breast bumps.

Momcozy S12 Pro is good if
– You want a hospital-grade wireless wearable breast pump. With a suction power of up to 285 mmHg, the Momcozy S12 Pro is as good as those breast pumps recommended by the hospital.
– You want some wearable breast bumps that last long between charges. Momcozy S12 Pro can be used for over 200 minutes for one charge, about 7~8 sessions around 30 mins per session (if change between different modes and levels). That would be good enough for working moms to pump in the day work time.
– You don’t have much of a budget for wearable breast bumps. All Momcozy electric breast bumps are affordable for under $200 (for two packs). Much cheaper than same-functioned products from Willow, Medela, or Spectra. If you’re not sure whether S12 Pro meets your expectations or not, there is a version of one pack available to try.

Momcozy S12 Pro is A Hands-Free Wearable Breast Pump
Momcozy S12 Pro features a wearable design with the motor and milk container built into one piece.
The cylindrical-shaped motor sits up on the container, with four control buttons on the top, making it easy for you to adjust the pumping settings to find the most comfortable pumping style with efficient milk flowing.
The cylindrical shape motor design is applied to old generations of Momcozy breast pumps like the S12 Pro and S9 Pro.
The manufacturer changed its style for newer versions. Momcozy M5 is still a wireless wearable breast pump, but it’s more similar to Elvie Pump, eufy S1 Pro, and Zomee Fit.
They’re in a more clean, simple, and discreet design with the motor and container to be a half-ball shape, reducing the parts that were seen outside when wearing them for pumping in the car or at work.
This design style makes these three wearable breast pumps more hidden than the Momcozy S12 Pro and S9 Pro, just like those wired electric breast pumps.
There is no cord between the motor and container, making Momcozy S12 Pro one of the best wireless breast pumps. You can wear it for pumping on most daily occasions, like driving in the car, working at the office, or even traveling out.
Momcozy S12 Pro Milk Collector Set
The Momcozy S12 Pro boasts a generous milk collector capacity of 180 ml (6 oz), surpassing the standard size of most breast pump containers at 5 oz.
This larger capacity offers moms the convenience of pumping more milk in a single session without the hassle of frequent emptying or transferring.
The Momcozy S12 Pro milk collector set comprises five essential parts: the flange, linker, diaphragm, silicone valve, and milk collector itself.
Each of these components plays a crucial role in the pumping process and requires thorough cleaning after every pump session to maintain hygiene and ensure optimal safety.
Also, these parts should be cleaned before first use and after every pumping. Due to daily use and cleanliness, the five parts of the milk collector set have a shorter life than the pump motor’s 500 hours.
You probably need to purchase Momcozy S12 Pro replacement parts for the milk collector set around 3 months of use.
Flange Size and Inserts
Many moms complained about the milk leak for Momcozy S12. That’s not the case for the Momcozy S12 Pro, which has upgraded flanges compared to the S12.
The Pro version comes with a double-sealed flange design, making it snug tighter, and closer to your breast, avoiding leaking during or after the pumping session.
Momcozy S12 Pro includes one or two 24 mm sized flanges in the package, depending on how many breast pumps you plan to get. It’s a good idea to provide single and double options for moms to choose from.
However, we strongly recommend you get the double package so that you can pump both sides at the same time. This saves your time, especially for working moms at the office or driving in the car.
The 24-mm flange size is commonly seen among manual or electric breast pumps. I think it’s because this size nipple is the average among US moms.
If you have bigger nipples, 27-mm flanges are available but you’ll need to purchase it separately. The double-sealed 27-mm flanges cost about $15 on Amazon. The combination of flange and collector set replacements is a bit more expensive, around $29.99.
Momcozy S12 Pro does not include the flange inserts in the package. If you have smaller nipples, you’ll need to purchase the Momcozy S12 Pro flange inserts. The different-sized flange inserts 13mm/ 15mm/ 17mm/ 19mm/ 21mm are sold in one package.
Momcozy S12 Pro is a Portable Breast Pump
Weight
You won’t want to wear a tank outside your breast. That would be very uncomfortable to every mom who is breastfeeding.
Luckily, the Momcozy S12 Pro is lightweight, weighing around 240 g (0.53 lb) for a single pump. With double-sealed silicone flanges for fitting well with your breasts, it’s not that heavy to wear in a pumping bra.
However, it’s imaginable that the Momcozy S12 Pro is heavier than those models without the pumping motor. The Momcozy V1 and V2 are half of the weight of the S12 Pro, weighing only 120 g.
Dimensions and Breast Pump Bag
Momcozy S12 Pro breast pump is compact, measuring 11 (height) x 6.5 (wide) x 4 (depth) inches.
It’s easy to get this. You’ll need to wear it for pumping. Large size is not that convenient for wearing and reduces its portability. Wearing this sized Momcozy S12 Pro for pumping while driving in the car or doing multiple tasks at home is not a bad idea.
And if you want to take it to the office for pumping at work, the compact design and small size are also good to store in an included breast pump bag.
It seems that the company designed its breast pumps for working moms at the very first. So the bag is also compact for taking the breast pump.
Digital Display
The LED digital display is another feature upgraded from Momcozy S12 to S12 Pro. The latter comes with a larger LED panel.
But the content is the same. It means you can also check the information included: Running time (by minutes), suction power level (from 0 to 9), which mode (three modes for options), and battery indicator.
The indicators for pumping time and battery power were newly added in the Momcozy S12 Pro’s larger LED display, allowing you to track the pumping time and the battery power more clearly and conveniently.
The mode and suction level are controlled by three buttons below the LED display. It’s easy to understand and use. The ‘exchange’ button is used to choose which mode while the ‘increase’ and ‘decrease’ buttons are used to adjust the suction power level so that you’ll get the most comfortable pumping settings.
The control buttons are as convenient as the touch screen, but they require a bit of power to press when the motor is working during the pumping session.
The lucky part is that the LED display and control buttons are on the top of the Momcozy S12 Pro pump motor. You can easily know the status and press the buttons even when pumping.

Modes and Suction Level
All the Momcozy wearable breast pumps are designed with three modes for pumping: Stimulation, Expression, and Mixed. That includes the Momcozy S12 Pro.
The 9 levels of suction power adjustment for each is also another feature of Momcozy breast pumps. The Momcozy S12 Pro modes and suction levels provide moms with flexibility and customization to find the most comfortable pumping settings.
The Stimulation mode is designed to mimic the suckling pattern of a baby, helping to stimulate milk letdown and initiate milk flow. Once milk flow has been initiated, moms can switch to the Expression mode to maintain a consistent and comfortable pumping rhythm.
Moms can adjust the suction intensity using the Increase/Decrease buttons until they find the most comfortable level for efficient milk expression.
The Mixed mode combines elements of both Stimulation and Expression modes, several minutes in Stimulation mode and several minutes in Expression mode. Repeat the cycling.
Personally, I generally choose the Stimulation mode at level 4 for about 3-4 minutes and then the Expression mode at level 3 for 5-6 minutes, and then the Mixed mode for 8-10 minutes at level 2. In the Mixed mode, I would like to manually stimulate to maximize the milk expression.
Hope you’ll find your best suiting mode and suction level with Momcozy S12 Pro as well!
Suction Strength
Is Momcozy S12 Pro hospital grade?
Given a maximum suction strength of 285 mmHg, the Momcozy S12 Pro is supposed to be a hospital-grade breast pump. It has very near suction strength as the 290 mmHg of Momcozy V1, which earns the title of “Hospital Grade ” from the manufacturer.
The 285-mmHg suction strength is strong and makes Momcozy S12 Pro beat most wearable breast pumps in the market, including some models from Spectra and Medela, which are two popular brands recommended by the hospitals (The main reason for this result might be that you can get free Spectra or Medela via insurance in the hospital).
However, a higher vacuum pressure does not always mean a higher volume of milk. You don’t need to reach that 285 mmHg all the time. Actually, the 285-mmHg suction strength is available in Expression and Mixed modes. The suction strength varies based on different modes and levels. Here is the vacuum range and cycle speed for Momcozy S12 Pro.
Vacuum Range and Cycle Speed
The vacuum range (suction strength) and cycle speed vary for the different modes.
In the Stimulation mode, the vacuum range spans from -65 to -135 mmHg, providing gentle yet effective stimulation to encourage milk letdown. This mode’s cycle speed ranges from 73 to 127 cycles per minute, replicating the natural suckling pattern of a nursing baby to initiate milk flow comfortably.
Transitioning to the Expression mode, the vacuum range widens significantly to -165 to -285 mmHg, allowing for deeper and more efficient milk extraction. This mode’s cycle speed ranges from 18 to 45 cycles per minute, providing a steady and consistent rhythm for sustained milk expression.
Moms can adjust the suction intensity and cycle speed to find the most comfortable and effective settings for their pumping sessions. In the Mixed mode, which combines elements of both stimulation and expression modes, moms have the flexibility to customize their pumping experience further.
The vacuum range in mixed mode spans from -65 to -285 mmHg, accommodating both gentle stimulation and robust milk expression. The cycle speed in mixed mode ranges from 8 to 17 cycles per minute, offering a slower and more deliberate rhythm for comprehensive milk removal.
Momcozy S12 Pro Battery Life
The Momcozy S12 Pro is powered by two 600mAh rechargeable lithium batteries, providing a reliable and long-lasting power source for pumping sessions.
The battery life for Momcozy S12 Pro is up to 240 minutes between charges.
That’s about 7-8 pumping sessions, long enough to sustain multiple pumping sessions throughout the day, good for working moms at the office or moms on the go for traveling.
The S12 Pro’s 240-minute battery life is not the longest among Momcozy breast pumps. The Momcozy S9 Pro is the winner, providing up to 8-9 pumping sessions per charge. That’s the longest of our reviewed breast pumps.
For its cordless design and long battery life, Momcozy S12 Pro is a great portable breast pump. The battery of Momcozy S12 Pro is rechargeable. It requires approximately 130 minutes to fully charge the breast pump to perform the best of 8 pumping sessions.
It’s a pity that it does not support quick charge. It seems very few electric breast pumps feature the quick charge feature, only Willow 3.0 (now named Willow 360) specified to boast this feature: 20 minutes quick charge will last for 1 pumping session. And Zomee Fit with a quick charge of 10 minutes for a 30-minute pumping sessions.
However, battery life is not the leading factor in choosing a wearable breast pump. The battery usage time of up to 5-6 pumping sessions is good and acceptable.
Additional Settings
All the double electric breast pumps are designed with a given automatic shut-off after a certain usage of time. The auto shutoff for Momcozy S12 Pro is 25 minutes. This not only conserves battery life but also reduces the risk of overheating, promoting safety during pumping sessions.
Additionally, the last setting memory feature conveniently remembers the user’s preferred suction level and mode, eliminating the need for repeated adjustments and streamlining the pumping process for efficiency and ease of use.
With a noise level of less than 50 dB, the Momcozy S12 Pro operates quietly, providing a discreet and unobtrusive pumping experience. This low noise level allows moms to pump without disturbance, whether at home, in the office, or on the go, without drawing unwanted attention or causing disruptions.
However, the noise is unavoidable. Momcozy S12 Pro breast pump does not have a mute function. If you prefer a silenced electric breast pump, look for other models like the Medela Sonata or Spectra Synergy Gold Portable.
While the Momcozy S12 Pro does not feature compatibility with mobile apps or Apple Watch integration, its focus on essential functionalities ensures simplicity and reliability. The newly launched Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow is a smart breast pump to compete with pumps from Willow and Elvie.
Momcozy S12 Pro Warranty
The one-year warranty provided for the Momcozy S12 Pro is standard among breast pump brands, offering customers coverage for manufacturing defects and issues during the initial period of ownership.
The one-year warranty matches the 500-hour product life as well. Electric breast pumps are commonly used for about one year of daily use on the conditions at common settings like 5-8 sessions with 15-20 minutes per session for one day. So the one-year warranty is commonly seen among breast pumps.
Only a few brands provide a 2-year warranty for their breast pump motors, including Spectra, Elvie, Zomee, and Motif.
Momcozy S12 Pro Reviews from Customers
When looking for a wireless pump it was overwhelming. I came across this pump and it has changed my pumping journey. I am a working mom and needed something that worked while in the office and away from home without being plugged in. This pump works better for me than my at-home pump and is super portable. It is a little noisy but as to be expected by a pump.

1st time mom. Had no idea which type of pump to buy but I heard a lot of great reviews about Momcozy so I bought it for a try. I absolutely love it and don’t know how I would survive without it. I use them in the car, at work or just getting stuff done around the house. They fit perfectly and are easy to use. Easy to clean and store away. The only “downside” is that it makes you look like you have a nice new boob job while wearing them.

This pump saved my sanity! I was so sick of being tethered to the wall with my Medela pump AND the rigid flange of the Medela was needlessly painful on my already sore nipples. This pump came at the perfect time! I can now wear this while I get up and move around! Also- the flange part is silicone (or something similar) so it doesn’t hurt! It’s also hospital grade so I am able to pump the same if not even more than I was with the pump in style! I love it so much that I actually bought 2 sets so that I can always have one mostly dry and ready to pump again or take one with me while the other is charging. Game changer.

I purchased this pump as my travel pump. I was a bit skeptical about it at first, but I read the reviews and thought it would be fine. I now find myself using it more than my wall pump. I can cook and clean while pumping and it's perfect for car rides when you can't get your little one out of the car seat. The battery lasts a while before having to recharge and the suction is actually pretty strong.
