Quick Take
If there is only one option, such as a limited budget for one product, I’ll choose the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow breast pump.
As we all know, Momcozy is a Chinese brand offering affordable products, especially breast pumps. As for me, the Momcozy M9 is also an economical choice even though its price is the highest among the Momcozy breast pumps – up to $269 when on sale.
However, compared to other ‘smart’ breast pumps with mobile control, the Momcozy M9 is much cheaper. Elive Pump (wireless) is $299.99 for one one-count version without discount; the double version is up to $549.99. Willow Go is listed at $349.99 and the Willow 360 for $499.99. See?
Comparing Momcozy M9 to these high-end models, it’s quite acceptable for its sale price at $269.99 (the listing price is up to $349.99 but the discount price has been active since its launch.)
Paying under $300 to get a smart breast pump is worth your consideration. Elive Stride is also under $300 with a smart app control, but it’s wired, and not as convenient and discreet as the wireless smart breast pumps.
As the ultimate weapon from Momcozy, the M9 Mobile Flow has a lot of improvements to pair with its smart features. Let’s dive into the detailed Momcozy M9 review and find if it’s your appetite.

What Moms is Momcozy M9 good for
Adding an app control, the Momcozy M9 increases its chance of being loved by young millennial moms. Think that, pumping, playing with your phone, viewing videos on TikTok, and accompanying your baby.
It’s natural to customize the pumping settings with your phone via the app. More than that, the Momcozy M9 satisfies the various needs of most moms.
If you need to pump on the go
The Momcozy M9’s hands-free, wearable design is suitable for on-the-go moms. Whether you’re juggling work, errands, or caring for other children, the M9 allows you to pump discreetly and efficiently without being tethered to a power outlet.
Okay, all the wireless breast pumps benefit moms from this point. But I really love the M9’s more fitting and sleek design.
If you want to increase milk supply
If you have been experiencing supply issues and wondering if there is a way to improve your milk supply – except using formula, you may try Momcozy M9.
Its 300 mmHg suction strength makes it perform as well as hospital-grade breast pumps to help moms pump efficiently. Improved greatly from its predecessors, the new Momcozy M9 is designed with 15 intensity levels (more than 9 levels of others) for individual customization and, most importantly, to maximize milk output in the shortest amount of time.
The newly added two modes – Milk Boost and Milk Relief, make Momcozy M9 ideal for all moms, no matter if you’re exclusively pumping or moms who mix breastfeeding and pumping. This might be one reason the company gave Momcozy M9 another name – Mobile Flow.
If you're heavy phone user
If you can’t live without your phone (hahaha, that might be the status of most people nowadays), you’ll have another important reason to persuade yourself to get a Momczoy M9 – It’s a smart breast pump.
The app can do more work than the digital display, pumping settings, milk tracking, and choosing the unique modes. The above-mentioned Milk Boost and Milk Relief can only be chosen via the app.
While other competitors are using their apps to do a normal job, the Momcozy has gone to the next level, much more considerable and professional. An affordable price for lots of great features, who else won’t love Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow?

Momcozy M9 is Smart Wearable Breast Pump
As a hands-free wearable breast pump, the Momcozy M9 provides unparalleled convenience and mobility for breastfeeding moms and exclusive pumping.
As the first smart breast pump from Momcozy, the M9 represents a significant leap forward in design and functionality compared to earlier models like the S9 Pro and S12 Pro.
Compared to its predecessors, the M9 (and M6) features a more slim and delicate design. This great improvement makes Momcozy M9 more invisible and fitting.
You can wear it in a nursing bra and pump without drawing attention. This feature is particularly appreciated when pumping in public or at work. Alice goes back to work after breeding and uses M9 at the office for pumping.
In comparison with similar smart breast pumps on the market, the Momcozy M9 holds its own – the more affordable price and more advanced features. Smart breast pumps are pricey.
Willow Go is $349.99, Willow 360 is $499.99; Elive Pump is $549.99, and Elive Stride is $269.99 – but it’s wired, not as convenient, and comparatively cheaper than wireless ones. The Momcozy M9 is listed at $349.99, the same price as the Willow Go, but you can get it at a cheaper $269.99 right now.
This more affordable price makes Momcozy M9 an attractive option for moms who want a smart, hands-free breast pump without breaking the bank.
Unlike other smart breast pump brands’ apps, the Momcozy M9’s app performs at the next level. Willow and Elive’s app replaces the function of a digital display for showing pumping settings, battery information, and tracking milk extraction.
The Momcozy app will allow you to access two unique modes. According to Alice, these two modes work efficiently to empty her with more milk supply.
Momcozy M9 Milk Container Parts
Align with its clean design and appearance, the Momcozy M9 breast pump has very few parts for the pumping process. Only five parts are included: pump motor, flange, diaphragm, valve, and milk collector. The latter four parts are needed to clean.
Like the M6, the few-part-to-clean is an improvement of Momcozy M9 from Momcozy’s old-style breast pumps. As a busy mom, you won’t want to spend much time washing the pumping parts.
Among the five parts, two important ones need to be emphasized. The manufacturer boasts that the pump motor used in the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow is the third generation and upgraded a lot in performance and efficiency from the previous two generations. Partial truth!
While the second generation is used in the M6 which was launched at the same time as the M9, I don’t know why the brand would differentiate these two breast pumps at this point. The discrepancy in the real price to purchase two models is not bigger, $269.99 for M9 vs $229.99 for M6.
The milk collector design used in the Momcozy M9 is different from previous models. It can be detached from the pump motor and directly stored in your fridge after pumping – if your milk has not overflowed the 150ml capacity. This new design gives you some convenience, but not as much as the manufacturer expects. It only offers four bottles in the package.
But you pump more than two sessions in one day. So you’ll still need other milk storage bags or bottles to store the extracted milk. I believe that the original intention of this design is good. with the included lid, you don’t need to pour the milk once pumping. It’s just not as practical as expected.
Flange Size and Inserts
The Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow comes with a standard 24mm flange, like other Momcozy breast pumps. This sized flange is suitable for a majority of US moms.
More than the standard-sized flange, Momcozy offers a range of flange inserts for M9, from 17mm to 21mm, to accommodate different nipple sizes. These included flange inserts are practical and useful if you have different breasts on both sides.
One of my friends told me that if the breast pump has additional inserts it is important for her because she wants a 24 mm flange for the left breast and a 21 mm for the right side. So we know this customization is crucial because an ill-fitting flange can lead to discomfort, reduced milk output, and even breast clots.
Momcozy provides bigger flange inserts, sizes up to 27mm and 30mm, for its old models before V2. It’s a pity that there is no bigger size for Momcozy M9 and M6 right now. I hope I will have this option in the future.
When compared to competitors, the Momcozy M9’s approach to flange sizes is similar to that of the Willow Go and Elvie Pump, both of which also offer a range of flange sizes to suit different needs.
However, one area where the M9 stands out is by offering more inclusive options right out of the box, rather than requiring separate purchases for larger flanges.
That being said, the flexibility in customization still puts the M9 ahead of some other models that offer limited or no customization in flange sizes.
Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow is a Portable Breast Pump
The Momcozy M9 breast pump’s design is another aspect that makes it stand out in the competitive landscape of wearable breast pumps.
I have to admit that I love its design – clean, slim, and seek. I think it’s a huge improvement from its predecessors. The Momcozy M9 breast pump looks more compact and fitting. It does!
This compact design not only contributes to the M9’s discreteness but also enhances comfort for prolonged use.
Dimensions at 77mm (thickness) * 109mm (width) * 127mm (height), the Momocozy M9 is slightly thicker than the M6’s 73 mm and M5’s 74 mm. But it’s narrower, 109 mm vs 114 mm of M6 and 117 mm of M5. Along with a more oblate shape at the top, the Momcozy M9 is more hidden in your feeding bra, giving you a more discreet pumping experience.
The M9’s dimensions are comparable to premium models like the Elvie Pump and Willow Go, both of which are known for their sleek and stylish designs. This comparison underscores the M9’s competitiveness in the market, offering a high-end feel without the premium price tag.
The Momcozy M9 is a bit heavier than older models, 302g (per pump) vs 240g of the M5, but still within manageable weight to wear and take for on-the-go use.
The included carry bag also provides convenience for storing and taking your Momcozy M9 breast pumps for portable use.
It’s spacious enough to store the necessities for pumping, but might not for the silicone milk storage bags with extracted milk in them. So if you take the Momcozy M9 to pump at the office, it’s a good idea to get another smaller pack bag.
Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow’s Digital Display
The Momocozy M9’s digital display is similar to the M6’s but more convenient to read.
Both Momcozy breast pumps have Cozy Red and white, but more Cozy Red applies to the M9, including the background color for the LED digital display. While the LED turns on and shows white, it’s obvious and clear, letting you easily read the information on the remaining battery, chosen mode, and using which intensity level.
Alongside the LED digital display, the Momcozy M9 integrates four buttons for you to turn on and off the breast pump and customize pumping settings (#settings). if you don’t want to press the buttons, you can use the Momcozy app to set up the modes and levels as well.
The app provides not only convenience but also functions. Two specialized modes – Milk Boost and Milk Relief can ONLy be chosen via the app. Momcozy M9 is a smart breast pump.

Momcozy M9 Modes and Suction Level
Here comes the best improvement I think Momcozy M9 features, more pumping modes and intensity levels. Suction strength is also slightly improved to a stronger one for its overall pumping performance. Explore more on the suction part.
We know all the other Momcozy breast pumps are designed with three modes: Stimulation, Expression, and Mixed. That’s the fixed game and even better than other breast pumps from other brands.
The three modes are still attainable in the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow and can be chosen via the buttons around the LED digital display, or via the app.
Milk Boost and Milk Relief
More than these three, Momcozy M9 provides another two modes that you can only choose in the app – Milk Boost and Milk Relief. These two modes are similar to the Mixed but at different rhythms.
Milk Boost lasts for 30 minutes, consisting of the three fixed circles of 2-minute Stimulation and 8-minute Expression.
The Milk Boost mode is particularly impressive, as it is designed for maximum milk output. When selected, the M9 will pump for 30 minutes, using a carefully calibrated pattern to extract as much milk as possible. This is ideal for moms who are looking to build up a supply or who have limited time to pump and need to make the most of each session.
Milk Relief lasts for 15 minutes, starting with 2 minutes of Stimulation, then 6 minutes of Expression, then 2 minutes of Mixed, and 5 minutes of Expression.
The Milk Relief mode is designed for quick sessions, pumping for 15 minutes to empty your milk supply as efficiently as possible. This is particularly useful in situations where time is of the essence, such as during a quick break at work.
Momcozy boasts that these two modes in the M9 have been tested by thousands of moms – probably from the experience of moms who used the previous models, and now integrate them into the app for one-step settings. ***
We believe that these two modes specialized in the Momcozy M9 might be applicable for most moms and you can set up via the app or the buttons as well because all the Momcozy breast pumps provide the last setting memory function.
However, if you have your own pumping pace, just follow your efficiency and comfort needs to choose the modes and levels.
When mentioning levels, the Momcozy M9 breast pump allows for 15 pumping intensity levels for choice, beating all the competitors. Considering its maximum suction strength can be up to 300 mmHg, most moms won’t use the 15th level, except if you have a pumping problem at the beginning of your pumping journey.
The Momcozy M9’s 15 levels of suction are among the highest available in the market, surpassing even the Spectra S1 Plus, which has 12 levels. This wide range of suction settings allows moms to find the exact level that is comfortable and effective for them, reducing the risk of discomfort or pain during pumping.
Momcozy M9 Suction Strength
When it comes to suction strength, the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow does not disappoint. With a maximum vacuum strength of 300 mmHg, according to the manufacturer, the M9 qualifies as a hospital-grade breast pump, offering powerful suction that is crucial for effective milk expression. This makes it particularly suitable for moms who may have difficulty with milk supply or who need to pump frequently and efficiently.
Based on most moms’ reviews and feedback, the Momcozy M9 works as expected at this point. They can feel a stronger suction power when at the same mode and level.
The M9’s suction strength surpasses that of the Momcozy M5, which has a maximum vacuum strength of 295 mmHg, and the S12 Pro, which offers 270 mmHg. This increased suction power makes the M9 a more efficient option for moms who require a stronger pump to fully empty their breasts and maintain their milk supply.
Compared to competitors like the Spectra S1 Plus, which is also known for its strong suction, the M9 offers similar performance but with the added benefit of portability and discretion. This makes the M9 an excellent choice for moms who need the power of a hospital-grade pump but also want the convenience of a wearable, hands-free design.
Momcozy M9 Battery Life
Battery lasting is an important factor for any wearable breast pump, and the Momcozy M9 delivers on this front with a rechargeable battery that offers up to 150 minutes of use on a full charge. This translates to approximately 4-5 pumping sessions before needing to recharge, which is sufficient for most moms’ daily needs if as the secondary breast pump.
However, considering you’ll need to pump 8-10 times per day, you’ll need to charge at least two times if you use Momcozy M9 as the only main breast pump.
The M9 requires 2.5 hours to reach a full charge, which is relatively standard for breast pumps in this category. This charging time is balanced by the pump’s ability to hold a charge for multiple sessions, reducing the need for frequent recharges. For moms who pump frequently, such as those who are exclusively pumping or those with a high milk supply, the M9’s battery life is reliable and consistent, ensuring that you won’t be left without power when you need it most.
If you prefer a long battery life, the Momozy S12 Pro and S9 Pro perform better, around 240 minutes for 8 pumping sessions.
However, I strongly recommend you get at least two breast pumps for cross-use.
Momcozy M9 Reviews from Customers
Momcozy M9 would be my first choice when using an electric wireless breast pump. But it’s not 100% perfect. Most negative feedback lies in the milk leak.
Due to the small 150-ml collection cup, some oversuppliers can easily pump more than this capacity and leak if the notification does not work. This is another complaint point for Mom Cozy M9 from most moms. You need to manually turn this feature on.
The M9 is the first smart breast pump from Momcozy. The app might not be functional. Hope this can be fixed in future app upgrades.
The one thing that made me really excited for this pump was the ability to connect it to an app. I like to be able to control my wearable pumps with an app so I’m not always digging under my shirt to change settings. The app was nice and gave you the option to sync both pumps together so they pump at the same cycle speed and rhythm, and also lets you operate them separately. Connection was also nice and easy. Milk output was slightly under what I normally pump, but I usually experience this with any wearable. I am a slight oversupplier but I still like to make sure I empty fully. My only complaint was that when taking the prices apart to store and pour my milk, there was a lot of leakage. I didn’t have any leakage when I was pumping, only when trying to disconnect and pour/store. I didn’t lose a ton of milk, but it made for a sticky mess. I was home when I did this, so I can’t imagine how messy it could have been if I was in the car. Also, there was defintely kore than 4-5 parts to clean. When you take everything apart individually for cleaning, it equates to about 6-7 pieces to clean. It wasn’t awful to clean, but I was surprised by this. Overall, the pump looks nice and does a decent job. Maybe it’s user error when it comes to the leaking, but I’ve used enough wearables that I feel like I shouldn’t struggle this much!
Momcozy M9 Reviews
It’s hospital grade! I’m an over producer and the pump empties me pretty well! Wish the containers held more than 5oz. Only complaint was that I leaked everywhere because I overflowed the containers. You have to turn on the “ Overflow notification” yourself under settings. I did not do this when I first pumped. I did glance over the instructions briefly and probably missed it but you would think that the notification for overflow would always be on not something you have to manually do. Overall is an awesome pump! And very very pretty! Hopefully they can let us purchase containers separately. That would be a game changer as well when it comes to taking the pump to work and using the storage containers all day!
Momcozy M9 Reviews
I have ordered quite a few of pumps so far and this one is definitely at the top of the list for comfort. Like most there are pros and cons, I'll start with pros first Comfort is unmatched, the tear dropped pump shape has such a natural fit. The sound is extremely quiet compare to others I own as well. The app is fantastic to control the pumps versus constantly messing with them under your shirt. It also has a sync function so you can control both at the same time, plus, there are premade functions for milk boosting on there. I have used it quite a few times and it seems to work. I really like that the collection containers are on the bottom and not part of the flange. Others I have leak from the silicone flange. The pump also comes with a carrying case with plenty of extra flange inserts and an extra set of containers and container lids to put your pump right in the fridge. For the cons, while its worth it for the technology, the price is a tad high. The built in 30 minute timer does not work when you are using the app and you can go over if you are not paying attention. My biggest complaint is there tends to be quite a bit of leaking that I cannot figure out where it is coming from. The first time I was moving around the house, the second time I was sitting upright and still had a ton of milk leak out. I cannot narrow down where it is coming from and tends to be an ongoing problem with my set.
