Quick Take
Momcozy M6 is a new wireless breast pump upgraded from the M5. It’s launched in 2024, along with another smart Momcozy breast pump – M9. The company gave them a new name – Mobile Style for the M6 and Mobile Flow for the Momcozy M9.
My friend Christie got her M6 months ago and this Momcozy M6 review is completed based on her experience.
After comparing the Momcozy M6 vs M5, we came to a conclusion: It’s worth getting the new version. From the more discreet design, the stronger suction, and the longer battery life, the Momcozy M6 is a worthy upgrade from the M5.
If you’re not sure which one is more suitable for you, Momcozy M6 or M5, read this review to explore my reasons why I recommend the M6.
If you’re hesitant to choose the Momcozy M6 or M9, of course, the latter one. Momcozy M9 is our favorite breast pump.

Who is Momcozy M6 good for
As an upgraded Momcozy M5, the M6 is more suitable if you prefer these benefits:
Hospital-grade suction power.
The M6 is more powerful, with a maximum suction strength of 295 mmHg, making it more appealing for moms who need a strong, hospital-grade pump. Stronger suction power does not mean more milk supply. But it does really help to increase the confidence of some moms with low milk volume.
More discreet design.
Okay, the M5 is compact and good for discreet pumping, but the Momcozy M6 is better in this aspect. It sharps the arc shape on the top, reducing the parts that will be seen outside the feeding bra. The same design is used on the Momcozy M9 as well.
I guess that the company has learned from Willow and Elvie. Actually, the Momcoz V1 and V2, two electric hands-free breast pumps with wire, have improved on this design. Now the Momcozy applied in the 2024 newly released Momcozy M6 and M9.
Expectedly, this more discreet design will be used in newer Momcozy breast pumps in the future.
However, the price of the new Momcozy M6 is not as friendly as the M5 for moms with a limited budget, slightly more expensive – $229.99 vs $199.99. Young millennial moms probably pay this price for its new stylish design in Momcozy M6.

Inheriting from the M5, the Momcozy M6 is also a hands-free wearable breast pump with a wireless design. We love this cordless design, which gives us moms greater freedom for daily use than those weird ones. You can wear them for pumping while dealing with kitchen things or even working.
The pump collector’s outer design closely mirrors that of the Momcozy V1 and V2, as well as its predecessor, the M5.
However, what sets the M6 apart is its more compact and discreet pumping motor. It’s thinner at the top, making it less visible when worn in your feeding bra.
This pump is designed to offer maximum comfort and grip to your breast, thanks to its double-sealed breast shields. It’s also easy to use, allowing moms to pump discreetly without compromising on performance.
The reduced size and enhanced motor design mean that the Momcozy M6 is not only easier to wear but also more efficient, giving it an edge over the bulkier M5.
Momcozy M6 Pump Parts
The parts included in the Momcozy M6 are the same as the M5: the pump motor, diaphragm, valve, flange, and milk collector. The last four parts can be assembled into the collection set, which comes into contact with the breast and milk. They need to wash before the first pump and after every pump.
Washing four parts for the Momcozy M6 Mobile Style is acceptable even if you’re a busy or working mom. Most electric breast pumps have four or five parts in this range that are easy to clean. Very few can beat this record, except the Willow breast pumps like the Go and 360 models.
Due to regular cleaning and sterilizing, these parts can be distorted after a certain time of use. So if you find that any one of the parts does not work for pumping or leaking milk, remember to replace it. The replacements can be found on Amazon or its official website.
The manufacturer boasts that the Momcozy M6 Mobile Style breast pump features a new generation pump motor, which will work more efficiently. The modes and levels remain the same as its predecessors, only the maximum suction power upgrades to a higher one – 295 mmHg, as strong as hospital grade.
However, I believe the Momcozy M6’s pump motor has improved in performance. Just check its design, smaller space for a higher power. Christie told me that she could feel the suction power was strong during the pumping.
How about assemble and disassemble?
Another point in design improves in Momcozy M6 over the M5 is the release buttons you can find on both sides. They’re great for you to remove the pump motor from the collection set, very easy and convenient. Christie gave a big thump up on this feature.
I wonder if the company learned from Willow and added them. It seems a bit more ergonomic and natural for you to press the buttons when detaching the pump motor – hold the two sides to remove it from upside down.
The Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow has this design as well, but there is only one button on the left side, under which is also located the charging port for the pump motor.
Flange Size and Inserts
The Momcozy M6 Mobile Style breast pump comes standard with a 24mm flange, which is a common size that fits most moms. Christie got this version and the package includes three sized flange inserts: 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm.
She uses one 21 mm flange insert for the left side and the common 24 flange on the right side.
Not like its predecessors such as the M5, S12 Pro, and S9 Pro, no bigger flange size is available for Momcozy M6 and M9 right now. That means you’ll lack the right fit if you have a bigger nipple size.
This is not a biggie, however, we all know that the right fit can significantly impact comfort and milk output. Hope the company will launch new flange sizes for Momcozy M6 Mobile Style and M9 Mobile Flow in the future.
Momcozy M6 Mobile Style is a Portable Breast Pump
Along with its great improvements in features, the weight of the Momcozy M6 is heavier, 287g per single breast pump vs 230g of the M5. Even with this weight, the Momcozy M6 is ultra-portable.
This weight is within an acceptable range, more lightweight than the Willow Go’s 355g and 360’s 385g. “If you don’t feel any uncomfortable with the weight of Willow’s breast pumps, you’ll easily take the M6,” Cici says, “The M6’s DoubleFit flange makes it effortless to achieve a right and comfortable fit.”
The carry bag is included in the package to store the breast pumps. We love it because you can always use it to organize the M6 parts without needing to purchase another carry bag. You may still have several milk storage bags on the upper side to store the collected milk.
However, if you have pumped two or more milk storage bags, the carry bag won’t have enough space. So we generally have another bigger mom bag to get all pumping accessories packed.
Digital Display
The Momcozy M6 has so many improvements from the M5 that you won’t notice the upgrade of the digital display. The information shown on the large LED display is the same: pumping time, remaining battery, and intensity levels and modes, good for convenient monitoring.
The LED display and the buttons on the top are built in the pump surface, making the design of the whole M6 Mobile Style breast pump look smooth and clean. I really love the design of the M6 and the M9.

Momcozy M6 Modes and Suction Level
With a wireless design, the Momcozy M6 can control the pumping process for a single breast pump with a separate pump motor.
The single pumping option ensures that the M6 can adapt to a variety of needs, making it a versatile tool in any mom’s breastfeeding journey. For example, if you want to use the Momcozy M6 as a secondary breast pump, you can get a one-count version, which is almost $100 cheaper. If you plan to use the M6 often, i.e. pumping at the office, it’s strongly recommended to get double.
The modes and intensity levels are also the same as its predecessors: three modes with nine levels for each mode. These pump settings for MOmcozy M6 are enough for most moms like you and me to customize our needs.
Due to its upgraded suction power, you may lower the pumping level to get a comfortable pumping. “If you have used the M5 or S12 Pro or S9 Pro at level 7, you may downgrade to level 4 or 5,” Christie told me. That depends on your specific need anyway!
Momcozy M6 Suction Strength
The Momcozy M6 boasts a maximum suction strength of 295 mmHg, categorizing it as a hospital-grade breast pump. The manufacturer does not market for this aspect, just states that the M6 Mobile Style breast pump performs well in increasing the milk supply.
I know that the brand doesn’t want to get any negative reviews on this point because the suction feeling varies depending on personal experience and use.
But I still want to appraise its performance on this. We can compare the maximum suction strength between our best breast pumps.
Image of chart comparing the suction strength – M6 as the primary one
The 295 mmHg of Momcozy M6 ranks in the top 20% of our recommendations, even beating some wired breast pumps – they’re considered more similar to the ones you have used in hospital when giving birth to your babies and are considered hospital grade breast pumps.
The high suction strength of the M6 ensures efficient milk extraction, making it suitable for moms who need a powerful pump to maintain or increase their milk supply. So, from my view, the Momcozy M6 Mobile Style is categorized into the hospital-grade breast pumps.
Momcozy M6 Battery Life
As an electric breast pump, how can the Momcozy M6 come without a rechargeable battery? It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge. When fully charged, the M6 can last for approximately 5-6 pumping sessions, equating to about 180 minutes of use.
That meets Christie’s and most moms’ expectations. The real use is near to the 180-minute longevity. If you use it as a secondary breast pump for two or three pumping sessions every day, the Momcozy M6 Mobile Style could be used for two days. But if you regularly use it, you’ll need to charge it every day.
I think the 180-minute battery is good enough for daily use, even though it’s not the longest among Momcozy breast pumps. If you value the long battery life as the most important factor, the S9 Pro and S12 Pro perform better.
The charging port is located under the release button on the left side. It’s very easy to access for charging the pump motor. The release buttons on both sides to detach the pump motor from the collection set are another point we love. We’ve talked about them in the design section if you have not yet noticed that.
Additional Settings
The other additional settings for Momcozy M6 Mobile Style include the same points as most electric breast pumps: 30-minute auto shut off for a regular pumping session, a relatively low noise level (<50 dB), and the last pumping setting memory function.
These are the basic and necessary features. But it’s still a typical breast pump, not a smart one. The Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow is the first and only smart breast pump from this brand till now.
Momcozy M6 Reviews from Customers
There is no 100% perfect breast pump, not Momcozy M6. Applause and negative feedback come at the same time since its launch. Here are some reviews from Momcozy M6 users.
We hope this breast pump can satisfy your needs for various pumping scenarios. But if it does not, no need to stick to this one. There are a lot of choices on the market.
Love these even more than the m5. The battery life is surprisingly long. They are super quiet and discrete and I feel like the suction is way better than even some plug in pumps. Definitely recommend.
Momcozy M6 Review
Momcozy pumps seem to be holding their own against bigger name brands. This particular pump is awesome and cheaper than bigger brands. It operates very quietly compared to other pumps and the milk output is pretty good! The design is aesthetically pleasing. I recommend it!
Momcozy M6 Review
This is an amazing pump. It’s like my m5 but lot better. It stands up on its own. No problems with the diaphragm not being in the right position inside the pump because it’s molded into the pump part. The material looks like glass but not. Very sturdy material used for the milk collector plus this stands upright. Very tight seal when already set up unlike my m5. No milk spill no waste of golden fluid. Very strong suction and does really good with helping my supply up. Nice that it came with an extra 19mm flange insert. Love this!
